THANK YOU! This is a fantastic interview. I am writing my dissertation on Nabokov since reading "Lolita" and admiring his style. This is a fantastic resource that I haven't found anywhere else, and I cannot thank you enough for posting it in its entirety.
If you do know somewhere I can get a copy, unabridged etc. please let me know.
THANK YOU once more; this is such a wonderful insight into a truely fantastic author.

Wow! Watching this was pure bliss; Nabokov is my inspiration. The first book I was ever able to say, with much certainty, was my absolute favorite was Nabokov's "Lolita". And it still is, I can pick it up and read it whenever and just completely be absorbed in the prose.

Thank you very much for posting this, I only wish I could download the video so I could save it for viewing later.

Great! Thank you for sharing! Those flashcards would become part of Ada. The part where he is playing chess with his wife is so endearing. Any idea what he is saying to the new paper man? He reminds me of so many indefatigable geezers I've met living in my grandmother's apartment building. Who would guess he was a genius? I hope I'm as happy as him when I'm that age!

[...] Half an hour of Nabokov! (and more) 7 September 2009 maciek Leave a comment Go to comments Not the sort of thing I usually post here but I discovered this earlier today and it is just too much to pass up. The sound and picture are lousy. But who cares. I’ve read the descriptions many times and now I could finally watch it. And so can you! (Thanks to The Puget News.) [...]
